29 February 2012 Norfolk Air operated its final flight on Sunday 26 February with just about the whole community at the airport fence to wave off the Captain and crew. We thank Norfolk Air for their professional and friendly service over the past 5 years, we will miss them all. As of 2 March 2012, Air New Zealand will operate flights from Sydney every Monday and Friday and from Brisbane every Tuesday and Saturday. A special welcome for passengers and crew has been arranged for the first flight this Friday. Air NZ continues to operate from Auckland every Sunday.
